Scene isn't a place, just a type of release and rarity. You can still download torrents that are scene releases, as they are eventually distributed across all p2p networks (like demonoid, which is fine). As for the Mp Patch, it sounds like I'm right, since you can't use a scene release for it, you need to do it a tricky way by doin that whole steam thing with the demo.

I read the MP patch and it says you go into steam and DL a another games demo and change some files and when you launch AvP you do it by launching the demo for the other game. I hear there is a better way to get stuff in place of torents? what's that?

Ohh, and if there is any scene release that still has steam, its nuked, and a proper is released. Hence the name of the torrent " Aliens vs. Predator *Proper* rzr911" as razor released a "proper" version that complies with the scene rules.

If the MP-Patch is needed ro be run with steam, you need to download a p2p release and not a scene release. Scene releases do not allow steam, as it's a type of protection anyways. Razor and Reloaded do not have steam in their releases, they rip em out bc those are the scene rules. You would need to find a release that has the steam as well.

Battlefield Bad company 2 was just released from scene.... for the xbox 360, lol. With that being said, it's only a matter of time before it's released for the PC and available to grab. I will try and keep you guys updated. I'm thinking the usual 2 (Razor/Reloaded) will battle it out to release first.
